THESIS:
By questioning the actions of the government and exposing the Watergate Scandal in 1972, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein demonstrated to the people of America the importance of taking a stand for the truth, the public’s capability to hold powerful individuals accountable, and as a result changed America’s attitude towards investigative journalism.
